The aim of the project has been to create infographics and illustrations that explain in accessible ways how algorithms work on certain digital platforms and how they can influence the information we receive. It also sought to raise awareness about the importance of preventing the spread of fake news and hate messages through these platforms. It is hoped that these illustrations will help people better understand how these tools work and take steps to protect themselves from misinformation and online hate speech.
