Editorial design and illustration for a research document on the migration experience of seven women from Central America to the Basque Country — a study on the structural violence they faced throughout the process. The challenge was to create a visual language that treated their stories with dignity and specificity, without aestheticizing their hardship or reducing them to their vulnerability.
The design uses illustration to humanize the individual portraits while the editorial structure gives the research the weight and legibility it deserves. Available in Basque here and in Spanish here.
