Art direction and social media design for a workshop series by Guerrilla Foundatio questioning how social change work can avoid perpetuating the very harms it seeks to address. The series was brought to life by the incredible Anthea Lawson, author of The Entangled Activist, with guest co-hosts Valentina Azarova, Nick Anim, Vanessa Faloye, Sophie Strand and Satya Robyn. Each episode focused on one aspect of the activist "script" we can unlearn — exploring the deeper motivations behind this kind of work.
The visual direction used raw photography, heavy type, and deliberate tension to reflect the disruptive nature of the content. The result was a social media presence that communicated the series' seriousness without losing accessibility.
