Unlearning the Activist Script

Art direction and graphic design for social media content. This project consisted of a series of workshops aimed at questioning how we can carry out social change work without perpetuating the systemic harms we seek to address. During these workshops, the societal and psychological "script" underlying activism was explored, and alternatives were presented.

This workshop series was brought to life thanks to the Guerrilla Foundation and the incredible Anthea Lawson, author of "The Entangled Activist," and guest co-hosts Valentina Azarova, Nick Anim, Vanessa Faloye, Sophie Strand and Satya Robyn.. Each episode focused on an aspect of the "script" that we can unlearn, delving into our motivations for doing this kind of work.
